SoundOn's suggested upload deadlines are below. The recommendation ensures your release is live on your selected date:

• On-platform (TikTok / Resso / Douyin) distribution only: 1 week before the release date.
• Off-platform (all other services): 3-4 weeks before the release date.

After submitting the release, it goes directly to our moderation team for review. Our moderators aim to have your music moderated within three working days of your submission; if you have not received feedback (either rejected or approved) by that time, please reach out to us so we can look into it.


Once we approve your release, it will be sent directly to services. And while we have a little more control over our on-platform supply chain, other services like Spotify and Apple have their own review processes that can take a little longer. In particular, it can take much longer for music to go live on Apple than on other services as they have a longer internal moderation process - rest assured, your music is working its way through their system!
